Members of the automobile industry met at the start of the New Year in New Delhi for the Auto Expo. A variety of well-known faces visited the Witzenmann Group booth, including (from left) Harald Müller, Managing Director of IMAG, a trade-fair service provider from Munich; Klaus Bräunig, General Manager of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), and the German Ambassador to New Delhi, Thomas Matussek. As in previous years, the Witzenmann Group of Pforzheim, Germany, presented new products for ship-building and motor construction at this year's Kormarine, the international trade fair for ship-building and marine products in Busan, South Korea. Among other things, compensators used as decoupling elements with differentiated connecting parts for ship motors had be exhibited.

A new edition of the proven "Metal bellows handbook" from the Pforzheim-based Witzenmann GmbH is now available. The contents have been updated in order to draw attention to new developments. New are also the division into a text section and table section, and the tables for valve bellows to ANSI standards.

Witzenmann Russia, das russische Tochterunternehmen der Witzenmann-Gruppe mit Sitz in Ufa, hat die neue Zertifizierung ISO TS 16949:2009 bestanden. Diese neue Fassung der Zertifizierung gilt erst seit 15. Juni 2009.
