An increasing number of variants, fluctuating production volumes, ever shorter development cycles: day-to-day business not only in the automotive supplies industry. On the basis of our Witzenmann production system, we develop cost-effective solutions for modern production methods for our products.

The Witzenmann Group develops tools and machines at the head office in Pforzheim for the global production association. The combination of in-house production and purchasing from innovative and competent partners ensures the greatest possible flexibility and – at the same time – close ties to product development and sales.

The involvement of tool and machine engineering in the product development from an early stage allows the demands on production and assembly to be taken into consideration even during the product design. This makes customised component development far quicker and smoother – with the optimum in-process reliability and quality.

At Witzenmann, tool and machine engineering are integrated into a continuous process chain from the idea through to the production. Product-specific tools and machines are developed in 3D CAD in the engineering team. The planning and project management teams carry out the implementation in-house and with external partners. The international service team supports the production units and subsidiaries with maintenance, repairs and after-sales service.

The production facilities range from tools and plants for single part production with a small investment volume through flexible production cells right up to fully automated lines for large-scale production.

Our experience in the integration of processes such as welding, laser cutting, soldering, press-fitting, pressing, punching, hydraulic forming, mechanical forming and labelling or testing makes Witzenmann a competent partner who offers the crucial plus to be able to produce assemblies with flexible elements.
