Forming technology

Forming processes permit the precision production of high-quality flexible metallic components. A complete command of these processes is therefore indispensable for the design, construction and function of our parts. Growing demands on functionality, complexity of the parts and quality represent a major challenge that Witzenmann as technology and quality leader is only too happy to face.
The Forming Technology development group deals with all forming processes employed in the production of Witzenmann products. At the Competence Centre in Pforzheim, we work on the continuous improvement of the existing processes, compare and evaluate known forming processes for specific applications and work in cooperation with scientific institutes on new, trendsetting forming processes that expand the limits of the forming technologies to date.
